An agreeable companion
The Parasailor is an agreeable companion on your downwind courses. Unlike regular spinnakers, the Parasailor stands very stable and has very little inclination to roll or collapse.
How come it is so stable? It is the wing that stiffens out the sail. Similar to an air mattress, the wing has a natural form to which it constantly strives. So, stay relaxed when the outer lanes of the sail curl in due to a wind shift: the wing withstands the change of wind direction and keeps the sail open, just like a soft batten.
And even if the Parasailor should have collapsed after a sudden strong wind shift, the spreading moment of the wing supports the re-opening once the wind has shifted back again, calm and gentle.
